Dr. Craig Conner - Senior Pastor

Craig Conner, a native of Hilliard, Florida received his theological education at Florida Baptist Theological College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Master's School of Divinity and Trinity Theological Seminary. He was pastor of the Michael Memorial Baptist Church in Gulfport, Mississippi for 13 years. Dr. Conner began his ministry at First Baptist Church of Panama City, in 1998.


Rev. Bill Sears - Ministry Pastor / Staff Coordinator

Bill Sears is our Ministry Pastor/Staff Coordinator. He joined our staff in January of 2007 from First Baptist, Jackson, Mississippi. He is married with two children and two grandchildren. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Education from Baptist College of Florida and his Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the Beeson School of Divinity.


Rev. Clyde Ellison - Senior Pastor

Clyde joined our staff April 23, 2000 after serving as Associate Pastor/Minister of Education at Springhill Baptist Church in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Prior to his call into the ministry, he worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service for sixteen years. He is a graduate of Florida Baptist Theological College where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education in 1993. He was ordained as a deacon July 10, 1977 and licensed to the Gospel Ministry August 6, 1989 by First Baptist Church of Hilliard, Florida. He is a native Floridian. 

Rev. Manuel Garcia II - Minister of Music

Manny began his service as Music Minister on January 1, 1991, coming from Montgomery, Alabama. He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a degree in Secondary Music Education. He also earned a Master's in Music Education from University of South Alabama in the fall of 1984. He was ordained to the ministry by Spring Hill Avenue Baptist Church of Mobile on July 8, 1979.

Rev. David Flatt - Minister of Discipleship & Missions

David Flatt is our Minister to Students. He began his ministry at First Baptist in April of 2006. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married with one child.




Rev Rick McClung - Associate Pastor / Evangelism

Rick McClung is married with four children. He attended Bethany Bible College and Gulf Coast Seminary. He joined our staff in November of 2002. He calls Baltimore, Maryland home.




Mrs. Ginger Owens - Minister of Childhood Education

Ginger Owens joins us from Thomasville Road Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. A seasoned veteran of Children's Ministry, Ginger is well known and respected throughout Florida and Georgia. Ginger has led numerous conferences in Children's Ministry. She is married and has four grown children. She calls Tallahassee home.

Mrs. Carol Whiting - Minister of Pre-School Education

Carol Whiting is married to Rod and they have two children, Gray and Paige. Carol began her ministry here in 2007, after 25 years in marketing/advertising.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Florida State University. 



Rev. Chris Love - Minister of Students

Chris Love became part of our staff in July of 2003. He joined us from Cloverdale Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama where he served as Minister of Students and where he was ordained to the ministry. He is a graduate of Troy State University at Dothan with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree through the Graceville Extension Center of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married with two children.


Mark McQueen - Business Administrator

Mark serves in the United States Army Reserve and has attained the rank of Brigadier General. He is an expertly skilled, results-driven chief executive officer with a history of building large, complex, effective organizations. He has experience in procuring and managing the full range of resources for multi-million dollar projects.
Mark holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from Auburn University, a M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University, and a M.S. in strategic Studies from the United States War College.
